Foam painting is such a fun project for kids of all ages and can be easily manipulated when designing as the consistency is thicker than normal paint. When it dries, it’s turns into a solid foam shape!

Ingredients:

White school glue
Shaving cream

Food coloring
Plastic Ziploc baggies
Design utensils – toothpicks, popsicle sticks, etc (optional)
Paper, paper plates

Measure about equal parts glue and shaving cream into the Ziploc bag. You might add a little more foam if the paint seems a little thin. Add several drops of food coloring to the mix. Seal the baggie and mix the ingredients together until fully combined. Cut a small hole in the corner of the baggie and start squeezing the paint on the paper. If you want to get more creative, use a utensil to make designs. Allow to dry overnight to achieve the solid foam shape.

Have fun!
