This simple yet delicious bread is great for breakfast, a snack or dessert! Because of the Nutella hazelnut spread, there’s a hint of brownie flavor, yet it isn’t too sweet. It’s simple to make and even better to eat!
½ cup superfine sugar (caster sugar)
2/3 cup melted butter
2/3 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon baking powder
¼ cup Nutella or hazelnut chocolate cream spread
Preheat oven to 340F
In a medium sized bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until combined. Add the melted butter and stir until blended. Add the flour, salt and baking powder, stirring until just combined. Fold in the Nutella until smooth.
Grease the bottom and sides of an 8 or 9-inch loaf pan. Spread the batter evenly into the pan. Bake for about 35-40 minutes. Insert a cake tester in the middle of the loaf to test if ready.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Allow to cool slightly then serve.
